Guidance Office

The school guidance counseling office offers a variety of services to the students of Calloway County High School.  The counselors are there to guide students in curricular choices and career/college research and decisions, provide academic counseling, and generally assist students with their journey through four years of high school.  The school guidance office is also a place for moral and emotional support for students, parents, and staff.  Please let us know how we can be of service!

  • August 6th - First Day of School
  • August 22nd - Deadline to sign up for the PSAT

SEPTEMBER

  • September 9th - Murray State Senior Meeting during CCR in Gym
  • September 23rd - Murray State Regional College Fair for Seniors who signed up
  • September 25th - Murray State College Fair at CCHS for Juniors & Seniors in the GYM: On-site Admissions and Free Applications to MSU for current Seniors will be offered. (specific times will be announced)

OCTOBER

  • October 1st - Gatton Presentation during CCR in LMC
  • October 21st - PSAT for those who signed up
  • October 23rd - Parent Teacher Conferences from 3:30-6:30pm
  • October 27th - MSU Scholarship Office Visits CCHS to help Seniors with Scholarship Applications (2nd block in LMC)

NOVEMBER

  • November 10th - GSE Informational Session in LMC during CCR
  • November 11th - MSU Scholarship Office Visits CCHS to help Seniors with Scholarship Applications (2nd block in LMC)
  • November 14th - GSP Applications Due to Mrs. Rydecki in Guidance by 3pm
  • November 19th - WKCTC On-Site Admissions for Fall 2026 for current Seniors
  • November 21st - WKCTC On-Site Dual Credit Spring 2026 Enrollment for Juniors & Seniors
  • November 26th-28th - Thanksgiving Break

  • December 1st - US Air Force  Lunch Visit

JANUARY

  • January 9th - Report Cards sent home with all students
  • January 12th - Suicide Awareness Video in CCR
  • January 14th - ASVAB for pre-registered Juniors and Seniors
  • January 15th - Murray State Racer Orientation Registration during CCR for Seniors
